In the fourth quarter of 2021, the leading beauty retail apps on the iOS platform in the United Kingdom saw varying trends in downloads and active user engagement. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into the weekly performance metrics of these apps.

Boots experienced a notable start with weekly downloads peaking at approximately 32.3K in the first week of October. However, downloads gradually declined, stabilizing around 21.5K towards the end of December. Active users also saw a peak at 173.8K in early October but showed a gradual decrease, ending the quarter at around 157.2K.

Superdrug - Beauty and Health maintained a relatively consistent download rate throughout the quarter, with a peak of about 11.9K in early November. Active users showed a steady increase from 29.8K at the beginning of October to 32.8K by the end of December.

The LOOKFANTASTIC: Beauty & Makeup app saw a significant spike in weekly downloads, reaching a high of 16.9K in late November. However, downloads dropped sharply to around 4.7K by mid-December.
